Mental Wellness and Self Care Queen

Bridget Foy‘s is back and it’s better than ever. After a devastating fire that destroyed the restaurant, they rebuilt it! Oh what a wonderful restaurant it is. I attended the media event for its grand opening! All, and I mean all precautions were followed. I felt safe and staff made sure to look out for themselves as well as the patrons!

Good Vibes

Dining out these days has become more of an experience. Since Covid-19 we are having to do way more to enjoy that night out. So I thought my husband and I’s lack of getting out was a thing before it’s even more harder now. With that being said, having the ability to get out is a welcomed production. We were met with what I liked to call mask smiles. All of the staff hands down were super attentive. Nestled on the corner of South Street, Bridget Foy is a whole mood! Seeing how they were able to lose it all and find a way to push through construction, pandemic, as well as Philly restaurant closings-they are the Poster child for perseverance!

Comfort Food

Bridget Foy’s has it on lock when it comes to comfort food! My husband had never had hush puppies. I know- don’t judge him but he tried the Crab Hush Puppies and fell in love at first bite. This is the whole premise of comfort food. Love and warmth in every bite! There’s nothing better than feeling like the food you’re eating not only warms the heart but the body too!

Veggie Lasagna

I don’t normally eat lasagna but Bridget Foy’s’ veggie lasagna is one of the must tries! It’s savory as well as delicious. Served hot the cheese pulls are amazing! You don’t even realize you’re eating veggies. I thoroughly enjoyed it!

Steak Frites

We are talking about crispy, hot, and golden fries served with roasted maitake, and bordelaise. My husband absolutely enjoyed this dish! Now you may not be a fan of steak! There are an array of shareable options, sandwiches, entrees, and amazing desserts! This would be a great place once life opens up to make sure that even the pickiest of picky eaters find what they will love!

Indoor and Heated Outdoor Seating Available

So I know what you’re thinking…heated outdoor seating? Yes. I sat inside however when I saw the heat for the outdoor seating at 80 degrees, I knew that had I needed to sit outside I would have been just fine! Let’s keep this in perspective that we had just had snow earlier that day and it still was a toasty 80 degrees!

So between the amazing food both pictured and not pictured, precautions actually upheld, a beautiful aesthetic restaurant, and amazing staff, it’s a no brainer that Bridget Foy haven’t missed a thing while they were rebuilding. Great experience! Reservations are highly encouraged using Resy! Also you may not want to sit inside of the restaurant-you can order for take out! It’s worth it and the price point is good too. I have a family of 5 so when I go to a media event such as this I calculate what I know my kids would want. You can get a great quality meal for some of the same prices as your local take out!
