Shady Brook Farm

My family and I were invited to Shady Brook Farm. There is seriously something for everyone! From the pay as you go food and drinks, kid friendly activities, and adult drinks as well. Also let’s not forget the Sunflower Festival and Peach picking. We had a blast. I love activities that are outside and keep everyone moving. Shady Brook Farms is gearing up for their Fall Festival. I will definitely be back. This location has been on my to go list for quite some time.

Out Today: The Protégé

I had the pleasure of attending the premiere of Protege featuring Samuel L. Jackson, Maggie Q, and Michael Keaton. First it was great seeing some of my blogging friends. One of the requirements was that we had to show proof of vaccination or have a negative Covid test within 48 hours.

Hene Strawberry Bramble

I had my card on me so that wasn’t an issue. They gave us concession snacks as well as an alcoholic beverage of our choice. I got the Hene Strawberry Bramble. It was good. Thank you to Allied Global Marketing, Lionsgate, and Millennium Media for the invite! The movie is has so many winding turns. All of the actions and pay attention not everything is as it seems!

Main Line Today Restaurant Week

We are back with a second week preview. This week features Avola Kitchen and Bar, Stove and Tap and La Cabra Brewing. Each had different dishes from one another, great vibes, and overall hospitality.

Main Line Today Restaurant week will be held on August 23rd-September 5th. It’s a mix of amazing Main Line restaurants to help not only feature great food but to assist in the recovery efforts for the restaurant industry that was hit during the pandemic. With that being said each restaurant will feature 3 course meals and deals either for dine in, outdoor eating, or take out. Also did you see the Avola reel? Make sure you watch it. I’ll be featuring all 3 in their own reel in the next couple of days!

OVME Facial

I had the most amazing hydro facial at OVME. It’s located at 925 W. Lancaster Avenue, Bryn Mawr PA. The location is inside of the Village Center. There is plenty of parking. There’s also some other amazing shops there too!

Made a La Colombe Stop

I also enjoyed the facial. They have many services not just facials like Botox, Cool Sculpting, and B-12 shots. So check out their site for more information. If you’re wondering about safety. Masks are required until you get into your treatment room. Staff is masked as well as they use gloves the entire time. I felt safe and relaxed. They went out of their way to ensure my comfort. Even before the appointment answering all of the questions. The facial itself is done and the amount of extractions and secretions that came from my face let me know I definitely needed it.

Conversations with Toi

Today is Friday and that means a new episode of Conversations with Toi is out! This week’s guest is Ashleigh Mayfield. She’s a Business Builder for High Achievers. She is a powerhouse and I mean every bit of one. Her charismatic go-getter attitude is heard from her first word to her last.

Whether you’re trying to start a side hustle or main one, she is here to motivate and awaken. We talk about her journey as well as what focusing on a lifestyle over what someone else has is important.

You can find Ashleigh on various platforms: her website, Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.

We have been crushing it with blogs and content. Not only that it’s almost that Back to School time for the Storr household. So I’ve been writing ahead to be sure we don’t miss a beat. So with that being said here is what you may have missed:

Weekend Vibes

We will be getting ready for back to school! We still have shoes to purchase and then we are done. School starts after Labor Day so we are soaking in the sun. In addition to that we are going to do some more family fun things and rest. I hope you have a great weekend and find something to do that is exclusively for you!
