Increased Therapy Sessions

This week I elected for more therapy sessions. I’ve enjoyed meeting and talking about some of the things that I’ve had on my heart and mind. I was given quite a few homework or therapy work to do. If you ever been in therapy before you know that often time the work that you do while in it can feel like being in class. There is always work to be done outside of your sessions. This week I’m learning about the way in which I argue or take in information during a heated exchange.

My therapist gave me some very outside of the box advice. I look forward to implementing all of the advice. I’ll report back in a few weeks.

Craftsman Row Blooming Gardens

Spring has sprung in a way at Craftsman Row Saloon in Philadelphia. From chicken tender bouquet, spring drinks, and more you can expect a beautiful time. If you have ever been to Craftsman you know they take a theme and blow it out the water. This is no different. There is wall to wall flowers and spring trinkets all around. It’s stunning. I highly suggest you go and enjoy before or after the PHS Flower Show. I will report tomorrow with a blogpost with what to expect and more.

Philly Black Influencer Happy Hour

What a way to end Black History month with an influencer happy hour. It’s something about being in a room of people who understand how to create content and be judged etc. Also we were able to support Bake’N Bacon which is a newly opened restaurant. They are the home of the Philly bacon board with sweet cornbread.

The food is delicious and they have none pork options and vegan too. The bar is amazing with drinks too.

Sleep Patterns: Friday Confessions

This has been an interesting sleep week. From weird dreams to reverting to bad sleeping habits, I plan to reset. What’s my plan?! I’m going back to using my weighted blanket and Sleep phone headband. Also my nighttime routine has been trash lately. So with Spring on the way it’s going to be imperative that I take advantage of the revival that happens when that winter seasonal depression wears off.

Travel joys

Next week I will be at a conference that is all about content and more. I have had this trip on my bucket list. When I started getting serious about the blog to take it from leisure to a full time job I started to look at what conferences would benefit me. I had to get over the initial fear of traveling alone and going to conferences that I wasn’t familiar with. My first one was with Blogher. Since then I’ve not only traveled on my own and enjoyed it but I’ve aligned with SheMedia. They are the driving force behind the blog and content becoming more streamlined in the last years.

Ahead of my travels here are some of the things that I’ll be taking to my journey easier as well as things you should get as travel season kicks into high gear.

Travel must haves:

Amazon is a lot of our go tos. So from backpacks, door locks, and more here is my must haves!

That is the blog for today. The blog page also has been updated. If you have ever been on the page I change the featured blogs to go with the theme of the month. Check it out. Thank you for your support. Saturday’s blog with be PHS Flower Show and Sunday will be about the Mermaids at Adventure Aquarium. Next week will be a purposely light media week. I’ve allowed myself to book for 3 events due to travel. I want to spend time with my family before I leave. Either way expect the week after to have nothing but heavy recaps and more.

Happy Friday and cheers to the weekend!
