What to Expect Before you Go

Masks are encouraged but are not mandatory. Come and don’t expect to be at a show but apart of the show. It is a cabaret so there is singing and lots of it. Good singing does something for the soul. Come and arrive a little earlier than show time. You want to find your seat as well grab your drinks. The drinks are strong. This is not a drink for the faint. So plan a ride accordingly. There is black light so wear something fun. In addition come with the open mind and heart. You are in for a full on ride.

Late Night Snacks is for Fun

That’s it. I could end the review now. However when I say fun, I mean it. I have never been to a Bearded Ladies Cabaret in the past. They are known to go around doing shows for all ages. Now they are at the Switch, located at 421 N. 7th Street. In my opinion it’s like the best club scene without all of the club drama that you need in your life. When I think about the show I saw, had I not seen it I would have been kicking myself in the butt for missing it.

Late Night Snacks and LGBTQ+

This is a full on display of music and the celebration of the LGBTQ+ community. I am here for it. I loved the energy of the Bearded Ladies as well as the guest. When I tell you that they are some of the most bold, and beautiful people I have seen I mean it. I sort of became apart of the show. It was the energy that was necessary for me. That night at Late Night Snacks set forth a joy that I really had to be apart of. I loved it.

Creativity on Full Display

Let me say these are talented singers and performers. Creativity is at an all time high. From the song choices to the creativity of making songs that are original. I was blown away. This is meant to be fun, uplifting and engaging. This is a compilation of just that. Not to mention, every show is different. There are different hosts each time. So the show will be different no matter whenever you come. Late Night Snacks, is co-directed by John Jarboe and Jackie Soro. They are dynamic in making the show a full on show for the audience. Here are some things that you may see: include artistic experimentation, adult content, consensual touch, earworms, nudity, jubilation, great selfie material, and rampant queerness.
