Happy Friday. Cheers to the weekend. With that being said it has been an interesting weekend and as always I have the recap and check -in ready to go. From Spring break to Easter, blog, and family life here we go:

Pin it for later

Easter Weekend

It was Easter this past weekend. I actually had just healed from my 2nd vaccination and that was a whirlwind. Originally it wasn’t as bad. However at the end of the day I would rather 48 hours of discomfort than having the virus altogether. I made sure that I was able to get the things I needed done for presentation reasons. Like the table decorated, eggs colored, baskets aligned, cake made, and Easter dinner ready as well. I am glad to say it all went well including the Easter Egg hunt, and cookie decorating. For more Easter fun, go to the blog where I speak in more detail.

Meetings

This has been a week of pure meetings. Some for campaigns and some with Lunch Club. Have you used Lunch Club before? It’s an amazing way of networking for your business and its one on one. I have found some amazing guest for the Podcast, Conversations with Toi in the coming weeks. I also found a way to find great people I wouldn’t otherwise have existed. If you’re looking to network this would the place to start. Unlike Clubhouse where you re in a room with various people, this is a little more intimate. Sign up using my referral.

Spring Break

This week ended the kids Spring Break. It allowed me some time to catch up on Reels and a few Tik Toks. Also I enjoyed some down time too. I didn’t have a set time to wake up. I didn’t have to do anything to get the kids online. We spent a lot of time outside because the weather has been absolutely beautiful. My doctor said I needed to to get some more Vitamin C so I made sure I got outside as well as took the Vitamin C pills too. The kids did their sleepover or the 24hour challenge. Have you heard of it? The kids stay in the one room outside of parents calling them, eating, or bathroom breaks they stay in the one spot. I think its more of a modified 24 hours challenge.

Podcast

The podcast is here this week. We are talking about Ron Isley and his delicious looking self during the Verzuz battle with Earth, Wind, and Fire. It was epic. If you missed it please get an account on Triller and grab some brown liquor and enjoy. Shout out to Steve Harvey who waited his whole life and career for that moment. We talked about self-care must haves for the week-my list may surprise you. It definitely surprised me for sure. Did you hear the new Kierra Keke Sheard and Nick Cannon song? Listen to it before you listen to the podcast or be forced to hear my 2 second rendition.

Toi of Toitime birthday celebration

30 Days to 40

Yes my birthday is next month and I am super excited. So in light of my birthday I am doing my Toibration a little differently. I usually do a full ten day celebration where from May 1-10th I find one activity that I enjoy. My hopes are to do a full month of celebration to bring in my 40th. I will document the journey. Its a little hard to think of 30 things but I am working on the list as we speak. Any ideas that are Covid-19 safe let me know by emailing me. Here is an example of my Toibration that I have done over the years.

Self-Care Must Haves:

In addition to what I talk about in the Podcast, this week I included an adult coloring book and a gratitude journal! I love them both. The gratitude journal is a year long journal prompts to showcase gratitude.

So a laid back week but definitely had a lot of moving parts. I can’t wait to share some new products and projects. To follow me on Instagram go here. As well as don’t forget my Facebook page as well. I keep both social media pages managed well.

Have a great weekend and enjoy that glass of wine. I will be back with a full week of new content. I can’t be lazy forever.
