Bachelorette and bridal shower parties are all about celebrating the bride. It should be filled with all of her favorites. It can be as naughty as the bride would like, or classy but it should be a reflection of the bride. The tribe is there to celebrate all things bride and making sure everyone stays on task is key.

Team Bride or Team Bridal Squad

I’ve seen Team Bridal Squad crumble during the process of planning. Often times it’s due to everyone forgetting why they were commissioned to come together. Everyone has opinions on what should or shouldn’t be but at the end of the day Team Bride is the only focus. What does the bride like or want? A getaway? A naughty night of strippers? What’s the budget? What’s the financial breakdown? Who’s paying and for what? It’s time to delegate.

Who is Paying for This?

Before you start planning trips to Dubai you need to have a conversation on everyone’s contributions? I love lavish parties but not everyone has lavish bank accounts. Keep in mind, this is a one day or weekend affair. No one should be taking money out of their household bills for this that leaves them broke or bills not paid. So set a budget early. As you come together to meet about the plans have a laid out plan instead of just an idea. You should know how much things are going to cost down to the penny. This should be done for the bridal shower too! If you have others traveling to a location keep that in mind. Although that isn’t apart of the budget it should still be honored.

Divide and Conquer

Although it’s usually up to the maid/matron of honor to see the entire event through to completion its okay to divide. Figure out everyone’s strengths and get things done. I’ve seen a breakdown in communication at this part so make sure everything is crystal clear. Set deadlines for things to get done or gathered. This matters. I’ve seen people at the last minute complain about expectations. Expectations should be discussed and reviewed. This shouldn’t be an argument. Nothing is worst than having people come together and it turns into a girl fight! You were all chosen to represent the bride at the many spaces of her life. Honor her in that request to leave differences.

Partyville Has You Covered

No matter how big or small, Partyville has you covered. This one party in a box will suit your needs. There’s 120 pieces in a box for one last flint before the ring celebration. You can make it as big or small as you would like it to be! It includes a bachelorette game, veil, sash, and tiara.

Fun is the Only Way to Go!

I hate stuffy bachelorette parties. Remember unlike bridal showers this is for all of the Bridal Team to have fun and relax! With that in mind, never forget that. Stuffy bachelorette parties isn’t where it’s at! Make it fun. Make it about honoring the bride’s last hooray! The bride is about to step into a world of unknowns-trust me. Have fun at all times. Make sure everyone comes and goes at the same time. Keep safety in mind no matter what. Have the type of fun that doesn’t end her marriage before it can even start!

Bride’s Expectations

Brides please make sure you have expectations of being showered with love. Do not let social media pipe you to believe that your bridal party is supposed to give you the trip of a lifetime. Social media and television has people all over the place in what they believe should be. Bridezilla behavior is real. Keep things into perspective!

Simple Plans?

Trust that no matter how elaborate or simple the bachelorette party is, it’s about creating memories.
