Mental Wellness and Self Care Queen

Wednesday

Happy Wednesday. I hope your week is going well. I am being thrown into Spring/Easter break in a few hours. This week has been super productive. I have been getting all kinds of content done. I hope you are enjoying it both on the blog but on social media too. Let’s talk about the week and ways we can end the week on a high note.

Productivity

There are a lot of things that people need to be productive. For me I need the ability to be in a quiet space. That space although quiet needs music or a podcast in the background. Quiet means for me not having to check in for something. I love having complete control of my schedule. So for you that may not have that as an option, here are some tips to create that:

  • Control the time you can
  • Carve in your week time to create
  • Set the tone when you have time to yourself
  • Find or create space in a closet or in another room that is all for you

Hydration and Eating Well-Wednesday Wisdom

Working at home or at an office can get hectic. Take some time to refuel. This means that you must get the food and drink that you need at all times. So take a break often to do that. I have been back on my meal planning. If you are unfamiliar with meal planning there are a thousand and online recipes that you can use. It’s cooking in bulk and setting it aside for later consumption. It saves time and makes sure you are eating well. Daily I fill up my 40oz water cup and make it my business to drink every hour. It’s important to do better in giving my body what it needs. This is wellness. Wellness is making sure you have what you need in mind, body, and spirit.

Wednesday

Checking in Daily

How often during the week are you checking in? This comes in many forms. You have to be able to be honest about your needs. Taking a 15 minute break to see what is going on with you. Tomorrow’s blog will be about an exercise my therapist has been having me do. It’s taking charge of the conversations I have daily. How often are we entertaining negative people unaware? Checking in is about noticing the things that affect you.

Easter Prepping

I bought all that I needed and included my Smart Sweets too. If you love Smart Sweets is a great tasting substitute to lesson the blow of sugar content. So grab a bag or more for you and your little bunnies. Make sure that you use code Totimeblog10 if you order it. Since I did my Mom duty to get all of the Easter options I will have to make sure that I get enough eggs to dye eggs over the weekend. I will try to grab them today. We will most likely have a low key weekend. I hope your Easter is solemn and fun. Enjoy some brunches. On Facebook I am showcasing a few brunch spots in Philadelphia.

Wednesday Look Ahead

I am offering families to see the new movie, The Bad Guys. This is a great family oriented movie. It comes out on April 22nd however I will be hosting movie passes to see it this Saturday at 10am at United Artists King of Prussia.

In the new action comedy from DreamWorks Animation, based on the New York Timesbest-selling book series, a crackerjack criminal crew of animal outlaws are about to attempt their most challenging con yet—becoming model citizens.

Never have there been five friends as infamous as The Bad Guys—dashing pickpocket Mr. Wolf (Academy Award® winner Sam Rockwell, Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri), seen-it-all safecracker Mr. Snake (Marc Maron, GLOW), chill master-of-disguise Mr. Shark (Craig Robinson, Hot Tub Time Machine franchise), short-fused “muscle” Mr. Piranha (Anthony Ramos, In the Heights) and sharp-tongued expert hacker Ms. Tarantula (Awkwafina, Crazy Rich Asians), aka “Webs.”

But when, after years of countless heists and being the world’s most-wanted villains, the gang is finally caught, Mr. Wolf brokers a deal (that he has no intention of keeping) to save them all from prison: The Bad Guys will go good.
