Disney Princess

So if you are following me on social media I have been showcasing the Disney Concerts. They came to Philadelphia on Tuesday April 12th. I even did the podcast, Conversations with Toi and interviewed Arielle Jacobs. The concert, Disney Princess the Concert was absolutely amazing.

Culmination of Disney Princess Songs

You can expect the most giant sing along you have ever been involved in. If you are attending the last shows of this tour or when they return, come prepared for nostalgia. Come early to show your vaccination card (if applicable) and get your seats. They started very close to on time so arrive a little early. For this leg of the tour they will end it in Washington DC. Their next stop will be my home town of Lancaster PA this weekend. Get your tickets.  Each of the artist, Syndee Winters, Susan Eagan, Arielle Jacobs, and Anneliese van der Pol are all magical. They can all sing individually and collectively arranged by the Fairy God Fairy, Benjamin Rauhala.

Favorite Experiences

So I took both of my girls. My oldest is almost 13 and the youngest is 8. Both of them had an amazing time belting out the songs. I am not going to lie I loved it too. One of the things that I loved was playing the trivia game before it started. I am happy to let you know that I passed with flying colors. It was great to remember the highlights of each Princess. Also one of my favorite parts comes from the Fairy God Fairy, Benjamin. He talked about his love of music, being different, and loving the Princesses as a kid. He know is as fabulous as ever and able to arrange the music for the Princesses. I loved that messaging that no matter what you love, like, or into you-you too can achieve any dream.

Favorite Song of the Night

There were too many to highlight but Nala’s song played by Syndee Winters was just everything. She too like so many of the Princesses started with their love of their characters as a child and grew up to step into those roles. I love that Disney Concerts were speaking words of affirmations over the children. Another highlight came from I believe it was Anneliese van der Pol did the medley of the original Princesses, Snow White, Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty (Aurora). My eyes lit up just as much as my daughter’s eyes did.

Don’t Forget your Disney Princess Trinkets

As always with any touring concert, you can purchase some Disney memorabilia to take home too. I allowed my girls to pick whatever they wanted, they elected to get the wands.  These wands are surprisingly still lighting up.  I enjoyed the selection of items and that at the Kimmel Center had multiple lines to get your items quickly and efficiently. Kimmel Center Campus specifically The Academy of Music is spacious and handled the crowd really well. We were in and seated in no time. The staff was hands down amazing and kind to us making sure we were okay. It was the girls first time at the Academy of Music and they can’t wait to go back.

The Disney Princess Concert is a must see. Full of stories of behind the scenes, songs, new arrangements. Let me give Benjamin a lot of credit-his arrangements are amazing. I hope they are planning of releasing these arrangements in the near future. Also it was an absolute treat to hear Arielle Jacobs sing “A Whole New World.” It was beautifully done. I am overwhelmed from this experience. It’s something we will talk about for years to come. Thank you to Disney Concerts and Kimmel Center Campus for having us. Check out all of the other shows coming to the Kimmel Center. I’ve seen the shows and I can’t wait to come back very shortly. You can see the Reel I did as a round up of our time.
