Happy Monday. Let’s start the week on the right footing. What are you most looking forward to? Issues going into the week? We all have them. With that being said, let’s work on the things that we are working toward and better ways to show up.

Monday

Monday Focus

Whatever your focus is the work will have to match the desire. We can’t simply desire more for ourselves without also being clear on what work will help get us there. What’s your focus like? You will need a plan that matches your focus. Sometimes we need a focus that matches our plan. No matter what side you are on-let’s do our parts to do the work. For instance I had to go back to the old school plan of writing it all down. This is a great way to visually see the game plan. Did you write out your goals this week? If so, what are you planned to do to make it happen?

Summer and Goals

I know that we aren’t there at Summer just yet. However we also do know that goals and Summer sometimes clash. Can you be easy going and still crush goals? Absolutely. It may take a little more focus than the Fall or Winter. However don’t be in such a Summer mindset that you start to have to build in the Fall. Do the work all the time so you can always reap the benefits all year long. What are your long and short term goals? Write them down and a plan to make it happen.

Out of School Parents

My kids are in their last week of school. My schedule will get more demanding. The reason is simple, I will have to work around them. This means creating content around them. This a challenge. Even if you don’t have children you have a challenge on your plate that will look and feel overwhelming. Do your best. Plan ahead. If you can edit at night like I do in the Summer-pick a day or two to edit a bunch of content. Working requires a lot of hard work no matter the task. Do your best and trust the process. Remember it’s a great thing for them to see you working hard.

Monday Delights

Am I the only one who starts off with several drinks to start my day? This Monday its coffee, orange juice, and water. I am making oatmeal with craisins for breakfast. I plan to have vegan tacos for lunch. A simple plan of attack is always a great way to focus on my tasks ahead. Making sure I am eating well and taken care of me starts with a plan. I know it looks difficult or unnatural to plan but do it. We need that plan of what to look forward to in order to make it happen.

Starting a New Career or Job this Monday?

It happens. Those nerves of starting over can be overwhelming. You are going to do well. Don’t see yourself any other way. Take a deep breath. Smile. Be grateful that you have this new job. Remember of all of the things that took place at your previous place of employment. Do things off the way you want. You have a new slate. New slates help you to be able to walk life differently and sometimes refreshed.

Monday Breaks

As we step into Monday. Take breaks when you can. Stretch your body. Take a walk. Eat breakfast. Drink your water. Be gentle with yourself as you devise a plan of attack. Get pumped up. Take on the challenges of your day in strides. Step away from your desk or work area. Decorate your space with what you need. This doesn’t always mean a full decoration of your work desk. Decorate your space with the items you need. Do you need to journal when you have time? Plan to have one on you at all times. Whatever you need make it happen.

Happy Monday. Take this first day of the traditional work week and make the best of it. You got this and you can handle it all.
