Adventure Aquarium Christmas Underwater Friday Recap

We had too much fun if that is a thing at Adventure Aquarium. From Santa being underwater to the animals that we were able to touch-family time was had. I love when we as a family can explore things and go as a guest of my blog. I enjoy letting the kids have these types of moments. Adventure Aquarium ends on December 24th aka tomorrow. So get your last minute tickets now as times will fill up. Makes a great Christmas Eve activity if you enjoy being out and about.

Charlotte’s Web at Arden Theatre

If you love the childhood classic, Charlotte’s Web you will love the production with Arden Theatre. They took the classic and turned it upside down. We attended the opening night and it was a true treat. From concessions, wine and ice-cream reception with Franklin’s Fountain ice-cream we all had a blast. Let me clarify just in case I have to that the wine was for of course, the adults. I loved my vegan pumpkin. Make sure that you get tickets now as they make a great activity during the Christmas break. There are many matinee shows available so you can take the kids during the day.

This is The Week That Is

Holiday Break

My holiday break started yesterday afternoon. With that being said I have added in some fun activities to take the kids on. From going back to LumiNature and more we will have a great time. I will have a guide to Philadelphia and surrounding fun this Monday so you can make the best of your time with your family. Some activities can be done inside your home since the kids will have just gotten some toys to play with too. Find ways to cut stress. Relax a bit on schedules and more. The less you make it so rigid the more everyone can enjoy their time. The blog isn’t going on a break. We will get you ready for your New Year and more this upcoming week.

Christmas Final Prep

If you are like most you may still be getting things ready. So that means for me specifically is finding time to wrap these gifts. Everyday this week I attempted and it didn’t work out. So send some good vibes to all parents who are wrapping and adding in details to make the holidays a little extra special. A special prayer to all who grieve during this time. With all of the jollyness of the season do not forget to take care of your mental health. If you aren’t feeling your best, do not lose hope. I send love your way.

Conversations with Toi Friday Podcast Drop

We talk about Christmas memories and struggles. This isn’t a down episode but we always mention self care and mental health as often as we can. These are hard times for so many. I want to always support those who like me can be triggered during this time. This episode is one of my favorites as I always try to bring an episode before each of the major holidays. So whether you are preparing or relaxing for your day I hope it brings you a smile and takes you back. Thanks for your continued support as always.

Last Minute Shopping at the Pop Up

Come to Bok Building and support 4 small businesses: Franklin & Whitman, The Tiny Jeweler, Echo Metals, and Remark Glass. They are going to have all you need for self care, personal care, glass or barware, jewelry and more. The Pop Up shop invited me to come in and I had a great time supporting them. Supporting small businesses helps the local economy and more.

Pop Up

So that is all for this week. Enjoy your weekend. Rest when you can. Remember the reason for the season. Drink responsibly and enjoy your time with family and friends. I pray no one is alone this holiday and if you are I want to send you the biggest virtual hug and let you know I love you in case you don’t hear it. Happy Early Holidays. I will be back with my annual Christmas message. Have a great weekend. Happy Friday!
