Happy Friday. There has been quite a lot happening for it to be a short week. I am hoping your week went well. Congratulations to all the graduates from every school level and more. Here are some of the things that took place this week and what to look forward to this weekend with a few suggestions for the late planners of Memorial Day weekend.

Friday Weekend Vibes

I hope all the Little Mermaid fans are going out to support the new movie that dropped today. My family is not only celebrating my oldest child’s birthday but making sure we see the movie today. Trust me tickets will sell out and some places are already sold out. We got our tickets a few weeks ago. The nostalgia has been building in our house. We loved the original and all the remakes cartoon wise and can’t wait to see this come to life. In addition, my youngest was the Little Mermaid for Halloween a few years back I may have to upgrade her costume soon.

Terri’s Passions

Her biggest passion is helping women achieve their passion for life, to break free of all the doubts they cling to that stop them from recognizing their worth. She didn’t return to school until she was forty.  With the help of the counselors and professors, she graduated valedictorian in her master’s Program. Terri went on to get her teaching degree and a certificate in special education training. She also adopted two teenage boys with fetal alcohol syndrome, so she could understand what the students in her classes needed. Listen to the episode now!

Happy Birthday Top Dog Cocktail-Friday Joy

If you love a good cocktail Top Dog is your go to. It’s in a can and all you must do is open and drink. The ABV is 12.5 and be careful with them they will sneak up on you. They are that strong. Always drink responsibly. I was introduced to them last year and I was impressed by it. We keep them in our house as well as anytime they are featured at an event, I post about them. Try it either in Pennsylvania or have them delivered. I highly recommend.

Friday

They invited me to celebrate their 1-year birthday at the PHS Beer Garden and I loved it. From the food, vibes, and of course Top Dog cocktail it was an amazing time. In addition, it was the first time I was at the PHS beer garden on South Street. It will not be the last. I really loved the spacing there.

CCD (Center City District) SIPS

I must be honest I have never attended a SIPS event since the time I have been living in Philadelphia. The reason had nothing to do with anything negative I think it may have been I would at events at the same time as the SIPS. SIPS is program that brings Philly to various locations in Center City for happy hour priced drinks and bites. Also, there is a discount for eating dinner at participating locations. This event was sponsored by Hornitos as well as Wooderice.

The crowds were massive for the preview party. I am not sure if that is the general way the crowd usually is, but I would be lying to say the least if that crowd wasn’t a lot for me. One plus, was the fact that honestly you could find your own spacing and be fine. I was more in the midst for content purposes. Pro tips go as early as possible so that you can beat the crowd to the bar areas. Trust me drinks under $10 will always bring people out and enjoying the summer sun. SIPS will take place from

Happy unofficial start to the summer. This is when families begin to travel and more. So, take your time this weekend and pack patience. From traffic to sobriety check points and more-take diligent care of you and those around you. I will be doing some light traveling and relaxing. The excitement of sleeping in on Sunday and Monday is the best thing for me and the family. Whatever you do don’t forget what Memorial Day is for as well as find ways to celebrate safely.
