Happy Friday and cheers to the weekend. It has been an extremely busier week than normal. With that being said, let’s talk about the highs and lows of the week and any and all media events for the week. I hope you had a great week. Oh and today’s blog makes the 8th for the week. Don’t worry I’ll highlight them in today’s blog if you missed one. We are really gearing up for my Blogiversary which starts in November.

Sick Husband

My husband been sick for the most part this week. No, it’s not Covid-19. We had him checked. Either way trying to work around him and allowing him to heal has been challenging. He is on the mends. I am glad because with Covid-19 that’s the first thing that I and others think about. This was a reminder that with all things, Covid-19 isn’t the only form of sicknesses that can happen. Also we are in the cold and flu season. If you aren’t vigorously washing your hands and wiping down surfaces, please increase it.

Inis Nua Theatre: Last Friday Fun

For the first media event since the last update blog a week ago, I attended the show, “A Holy Show.” It was amazing to be back in theatre as I do quite often a lot of theatre reviews. Thank you to the entire staff of Inis Nua for always welcoming me. If you haven’t read the review, please do. The show is in production until October 24, 2021.

Navy vs Army

We attended the soccer game of Navy vs Army. It was an amazing time to be at the Subaru Park stadium. I love going to soccer games now that my son plays. We enjoyed family time after spending most of Saturday having the most down day. I took the nap of a lifetime and I needed it. If you are wondering Navy took the win. We sat in the front row and a little too close to the action. The ball came into our direction but no one was hurt and that is all that matters. Can’t beat family time and fresh air.

Mental Health Day

Sunday was Mental Health Day. A day to encourage those who are dealing with mental health issues that it’s okay to not be okay. I highlight this often. A lot of it has to deal with going through it myself openly. So if you suffering in silence I understand that too. Keep in mind you aren’t alone. There are those who look really well put together who suffer and aren’t okay.

Your Personal Branding

I attended the Diva Girl Your Personal Branding workshop. It was taught by Robyn Graham. She is an author, new book coming out in the top of the New Year, Photographer, Podcaster, Blogger, and Coach. I enjoyed hearing ways to strategize for maximum reach for your business. Also it’s always good getting a new headshot too. Thanks to Majet for organizing these great events for women to build and network.

Wonderspaces is Back

Wonderspaces the interactive and self-guided art exhibit is back with 16 installations. It is hands on and better than ever. I attended the media event. It was so much fun. We all had to have our masks on but definitely worth it. In my review, I give my information on what to expect as well as details on the bar that is running too.

Kids on Television

Every so often I get asked to make an appearance on television. My kids and I were (mostly them) showcased their Halloween costumes. It was about letting others know that Boo at the Zoo is back. Boo at the Zoo was the only Halloween focused event that we did last year considering Covid-19 was strong. They were on PHL17 with Sophia Cifuentes.  They will be back on television today, I will update.

Conversations with Toi Friday Drop

Fridays are for a new episode. We are talking about the safety of women in life and especially with traveling. A woman reported that she checked into a hotel and a man attempted to break into the hotel with a key. So listen in for that as well as check my Amazon page for travel security for everyone.
