The Atmosphere: A Warm & Inviting Welcome

Stepping into FAVA, my friend Amanda of Phillyfoodandbarrs and I were met with an ambiance that exuded both elegance and comfort. The staff greeted us like family, ensuring that from the very first moment, we felt at ease and appreciated. Hospitality is at the heart of FAVA, making every guest feel valued and welcomed.

A Love for Italian Cuisine & Flavors that Deliver

As an Italian food enthusiast, I couldn’t wait to dive into the menu. Every dish felt like a personal reward—an ode to the tradition and flavors that make Italian cuisine one of my favorites.

  • Linguini Clams & Mussels – Briny freshness perfectly balanced with delicate seasonings.
  • Eggplant Parmigiana – Rich, layered, and bursting with tangy marinara and melted cheese.
  • Smoked Salmon – Silky and smoky, a wonderful addition to the brunch spread.
  • Frittura Mista – A golden-fried medley of seafood that was light yet incredibly satisfying.
  • Cannoli-Stuffed French Toast – A decadent creation that merged classic cannoli filling with pillowy French toast.
  • Meatballs al Forno – Sizzling, hearty, and everything comforting about Italian food.

Sipping & Toasting to the Day

No brunch celebration is complete without the perfect drink. I raised my glass of Rosé, enjoying its crisp, refreshing notes. The Tramonto Viola, a beautifully balanced cocktail, added a sophisticated finish to the meal.

Food for the Soul: The Joy of Sharing a Meal

One of the best things about dining out? Sharing the experience with a friend. Meals aren’t just about nourishment—they’re about connection. Sitting across from Amanda, unwinding after a physically demanding but exhilarating race, and savoring incredible food reminded me of how much joy comes from these moments.

Always Leave Room for Dessert

I ended my time with a beautiful serving of a raspberry sorbet. It was a great choice. With all of the food that we had this dessert was easy to consume. Just know, I slept well that evening.

FAVA is located at 1102 Baltimore Pike, Glen Mills PA 19342. It is about 30 minutes outside of Philadelphia. THank you to the entire team of FAVA, and Amanda of Phillyfoodandbarrs for having me. What a great way to celebrate the long road to the Broad Street and the middle of my Toibration celebration. Check them out and let me know your thoughts. I will definitely bring the family next time.
