Taco Tuesday is a big deal. Any taco lover knows that this coveted day means serious business. If you have ever been to Buena Onda under Jose Garces you know what a great experience it is. Now the taco goodness is located outside of Philly and it’s worth it.
Buena Onda Has Options
There is something for everyone. From meat, seafood, vegans, and vegetarian there are tacos, bowls, and more to fit every need. I had a Buena Bowl. This was the Mushroom and Kale. It was delicious in every way. Made with Poblano Rajas, Black Beans, Queso Fresco (which you can have taken out), and Crema. Buena Onda has about 5 bowls altogether ranging from Adobo Chicken to Grilled Shrimp.
Tacos
If you are looking to enjoy your tacos they have you covered. From fish, to shrimp, and even short rib. The options are there. When you arrive, they have a very clear menu displayed. You choose what you will including drinks. You are given a number if you are dining inside, and they will bring you your food. So simple and easy. Your tacos are full of flavor. Buena Onda Tacos definitely have such a flare to them. Not to mention there are also appetizers to try. From the chips and salsa, to their nachos. See below for the lobster nachos.
Plenty of Seating
Seating is not a problem here at Buena Onda. They have such opening seating and I love that. The seating is large enough for families or hanging with friends. From high top tables, booths, and more. My favorite spot is the high top table by the window. I like to personally people watch. For parents looking to take their kids, they also have a kids meal for them. My kids wouldn’t eat a kids meal because they are more in adult portions but I highly suggest that if a parent took their child it would be a good time for all.
Margaritas for All
Whether you want a margarita that is virgin or with tequila Buena Onda has you covered. They will have speciality flavors. From their frozen margaritas such as the pineapple or the strawberry. Frozen and deliciousness is what you can expect. Before they got their liquor license, the pineapple, strawberry and watermelon flavor was absolutely hands down a vibe.
Desserts at Buena Onda
Churros anyone? Don’t forget to leave room for some churros. The flavors come in chocolate or dulce de leche. These warm and gooey churros are the best way to end your experience. If you live in the area or near a Buena Onda and have the taco desire hit you but don’t want to drive remeber you can order them on Ubereats, etc.
