Holiday Edition: December 2025
December Holiday Edition
Happy December! We are now in the 12th month of the year. The last month of the quarter and year. Chapter 12 of 12. It’s hard to believe another year has come to an end.

It’s the time of the year where we begin the matching t-shirts and pajamas. From Fall fest to pumpkin patches to the holiday gatherings. Here are my tips to making this time of the year as successful.
- Don’t overplan: it takes a lot to get these “events” off the ground
- If someone in your world doesn’t want to participate leave them when its possible
- Keep it casual-even the cutest picture moments can be ruined when the pressure is too high
- Add downtime for all not just for the babies

Sleep Comfort
November is also sleep comfort month. In a world that wants to keep going sleep is imperative.

To achieve sleep comfort, start by creating a calming environment—dim lighting, cool air (around 65°F), and minimal noise. Choose bedding that suits your body’s needs, whether that’s a firm mattress for back support or breathable sheets for temperature regulation. Establish a consistent wind-down ritual, like gentle stretching or reading, to signal your body it’s time to rest. Comfort isn’t just about softness—it’s about feeling safe, supported, and ready to let go.
November Joy & Self-Care Ideas
4th quarter comes so fast that I want you to prepare for it. Take the time to explore nature and see things you may have not noticed before. Surround yourself with warm colors, comforting scents, and music that stirs emotion. Revisit creative passions—whether it’s painting, podcasting, or simply curating a cozy corner in your home. And most importantly, lean into connection: share your heart with someone you trust, or offer your presence to a community space that needs your light. Soul care in November is honoring yourself.

As the crisp air settles and the scent of cinnamon and roasted vegetables fills the home, Thanksgiving offers a gentle invitation to slow down and savor. Self-care during the holiday season can be as simple as carving out quiet moments between the bustle — a walk under golden leaves, journaling with a warm mug in hand, or setting boundaries that protect your peace. Joy blooms in shared laughter around the table, in the stories passed between generations, and in the small rituals that nourish both body and soul.
Whether you’re cooking with love, resting without guilt, or creating new traditions with your family, this season reminds us that gratitude is a form of healing, and celebration can be deeply restorative.
11th Year Blogiversary Loading Soon
Happy 11th year to the blog! Oh the joys of writing. There’s something beautiful about continuing in your craft. I don’t take anything for granted. From the perspective to the people I’ve met and the joy of doing what I love daily it’s an honor.
