Mental Wellness and Self Care Queen

There’s no secret that I love Mexican food. I’m starting to think it’s my favorite to eat. No lie! Nothing will move more than a great taco! Tacos are life! Well maybe not but they sure make life even better. Juno is an open air Mexican Restaurant by the Morgan Pier crew. If you have been to Morgan Pier lately you know the same care and quality has been achieved!

Juno and Social Distancing

So can I make an admission? I haven’t been inside of a restaurant or outside of one either for social eating. I’ve gotten take out not even a handful of times due to me not wanting to be sick. So when I got the invite to attend the Media Invite I paid close attention to the ways in which Juno set the social distance bar high. One, if and when you attend Juno is a beautiful outside garden. You MUST have a reservation. You will have your masks on all the way until you are seated. Tables are 6 feet apart. Your waiter or waitress will serve you with masks the entire time. Juno takes pride with reminders all the way throughout the establishment for social distancing. They are serious and stay in full compliance the entire time.

It made me at full ease. It’s one of the reasons I haven’t done family functions because the level of social distancing that Juno has done most people in their homes won’t do. Juno made sure to make all of their guests at ease without skimping on quality service, food, or drinks.

Let’s Eat

There are many options to enjoy! Not just their tacos they also have sandwiches, salads, and even desserts. Don’t forget the appetizers!

So again to went straight for the tacos. I mean cause they are life. I personally went for the Verdura which is a veggie taco with avocado and salsa. Man oh man. These tacos were so fulfilling that I wasn’t sad that I hadn’t tried the chips and salsa. It was the perfect combination of veggies and it was super good. This is what I will say on the taco selections from their menu, full of selections for everyone. From pork, chorizos, shrimp, chicken and steak you won’t be disappointed. Some Mexican restaurants will only have a limited selections but not Juno! They have a menu to feed everyone’s palettes.

Drinks Anyone

The first sip of their Frozé is just pure perfection. The frozen drink is a mix of Povero Rosé, Libélula tequila, lemon juice and strawberry purée. It’s amazing. The mix is truly a great concoction. I remember having a conversation with one of my friends who reminded me how I didn’t “sell” her how awesome frozés were. This is the perfect Summer drink.

Juno has a wide selection of drinks. From cocktails such as the Juno Spritz, another one of my favorites to try; to Drafts and wines by the glass or bottle; all drinkers will be refreshed!

Juno Spritz

Juno has you covered. It’s not if they have great drinks it’s which one will you have to try? I plan on going back and when I do I have my eyes set on Summatime which is a mix of Vodka, Aperol, melon and lemon mint!

Now had I gone with some friends I would have had to try the Beerbarrow! What is a Beerbarrow? It’s filled with either 6 Highlifes for $20 or 12 for 40; a carafe of House tequila shots can be added for $20!

So now you know that Juno is going to do what they can to protect you. They have all of the protocols in place, open air eating, drinks and amazing food, so now what? You have to get your butt in the seats. I can’t arrest enough that you need a reservation! You also have to know their hours of operation:

Monday/ Tuesday 4pm-midnight

Wednesday-Friday 4pm- 2am

Saturday 11am-2am

Sunday 11am-10pm

Juno Philly has given me so much joy in dining again. They will be the first place I adventure to on my own. The levels of care mean the world to me during these times. FYI just in case you were wondering as of now they do not offer take out but if you dine in you are certainly can take food and drinks home. I took home a few orders of Frozé home to enjoy with my husband.

Remember while you are out, tip your servers well and remain patient. They are servicing you with masks and things may take a little longer. I loved how as soon as you walk in they inform you of those very things!

Thank you Juno Philly and Aversa PR for the invite! This beautiful space and amazing service was what I needed to welcome me back into the movement of Philly!

Let me know once you go how you like it? Let me know which you like most; the beautiful garden, the drinks, the food, or the service? For me it was a great combination of it all!
