Welp, another Monday is here. How are you feeling? Like how are you truly feeling? Ask yourself every single day that question. Check in with yourself everyday and before you start your day.

Sun Rising

Today was unique. I woke up watching the sun come up. Let me say that doesn’t happen often. I just don’t have the time or make the time. Spending my morning asleep until about 645 especially on Mondays. I couldn’t sleep so I put on music and watched the sun come up. It’s a beautiful thing to see. I didn’t want to capture it via phone and just wanted to be completely present. It was beautiful. I thought about darkness turning into light. I was listening to Hello Fear by Kirk Franklin. The song if you never heard it is absolutely beautiful. I had a little inspirational gear up. When sunlight comes all the things that we didn’t handle comes creeping back. However I see it as an opportunity to make better choices. It’s a blessing to wake up and start your day. Don’t forget the blessing in it!

New Day

I know you know that each day already comes with it’s unique challenges. With that being said don’t over complicate it. Stop adding your own extra stress. Stop bringing in your laundry list of what you aren’t capable of doing or what you aren’t. I think you know the list by heart by now unfortunately. This is why when someone pays you a compliment you bring one of the items on your list to counter it. Simple say thank you. Simply walk in your day and deal with what life brought to your plate.

You don’t have to come with a bunch of options and sides “just in case!” You are more than capable of being great even with your self doubt! Matter of fact even your doubt is aware of your gifts that the world needs. It’s inside of you but you don’t want to tap into it fully! Let’s knock that nonsense off!

Bad Days Aren’t Permanent

We all have bad days. While I woke up to light and love, you may be reading and thinking this sounds all kinds of flowery. Your day may mimic something from a horror story. You haven’t even had your coffee and you’re already over it. I get it! We all have those days. It’s ok! They don’t last forever. Your toughest day, remember you are tougher! You got it! Reset! You are more in control in a lot of ways. Bad days can be debilitating. Acknowledge it so you can control your emotions and take back your day! Trust me you don’t have time to waste. Utilize your time. Check yourself.

Mondays are what you make them. Take the day! Make it what you see fit! There’s at least one thing in any area you’re thinking about that you can do to get you closer to goal. It can be small or big but take the day! Take your emotions surrounding your issues and take the day! You owe it to yourself to see what you can do! So have a good one today! I’m rooting for you!
