What to Expect Before you go on Philly Ghost Boos
This is a 21 and older tour. There are family friendly ghost tours but its not this one. Wear comfortable shoes, bring an umbrella in case as it is rain or shine. In addition, tip your tour guide. I really enjoyed the tour and it makes a great tour for date nights, celebrations, hanging with friends, and more. Also it is so much facts and interesting stories to learn. Come with an adventurous mind.

Washington Square Park: Ghosts of a Forgotten Burial Ground
The story begins at Washington Square Park, once a burial ground for Revolutionary War soldiers and victims of yellow fever. As you walk through this serene space, you can’t ignore the whispers of forgotten souls. Many visitors report feeling a strange presence, as though the lives lost centuries ago still linger in the park.
Independence Hall: Shadows of Revolutionaries
The iconic Independence Hall is not just the birthplace of American independence; it’s a site woven with ghostly tales. The spirits of John Adams and Benedict Arnold are rumored to roam its halls, embodying the weight of political strife and betrayal. Some have even claimed to sense the presence of Marie Antoinette—perhaps symbolizing the global ripple effects of revolution.

Congress Hall: A Founding Father’s Lingering Presence
Across the street lies Congress Hall, where Benjamin Franklin himself may still haunt the chambers where U.S. Congress convened. Franklin’s legacy as a polymath and philosopher endures not only in history but in tales of supernatural encounters. Some believe Franklin’s restless spirit frequents the halls, reflecting on the monumental decisions that shaped America.

Benjamin Franklin’s 1820s Housekeeper: Mysterious Movements
Speaking of Franklin, his legacy extends to the story of his 1820s housekeeper, who experienced peculiar phenomena—piles of books mysteriously moving on their own. It’s a personal touch to Franklin’s ghost stories, reminding us of the man behind the myth.
Carpenter’s Hall: The Thrilling Tale of a Quarter-Million-Dollar Heist
Carpenter’s Hall, known for hosting the First Continental Congress, also harbors a darker tale. The legend of O’Connell’s bank robbery—a quarter-million-dollar inside job—is an unexpected twist in the building’s history. The ghostly echoes of this dramatic heist add an air of mystery to the historic site.

Revolution House Bar: Spirits and Stories
As part of your pub crawl, make a stop at the Revolution House Bar, a lively spot with its own haunted reputation. Located in a historic building, this bar offers a blend of colonial charm and eerie tales, making it a perfect addition to your ghostly adventure. Step into the Revolution House, a site steeped in stories of heroism and tragedy during the Revolutionary War. The emotions of the era seem to cling to the walls, creating an atmosphere charged with the energy of the past.
