This post is brought to you by our sponsor, “Always Eat After 7pm.” The opinions expressed below are my own!

This book Always Eat after 7pm, I know will challenge everything I have ever heard about diets or eating “healthy’ just from the title alone. So, before I recap and break this book down, I decided to talk about my own weight loss journey so that when we go forward it will help you understand my story. I was a size 2 before college and by the time I gained my Freshman 15 I was a beautiful size 6. Now I have never been into numbers on a scale to define me until after I had my children. A size 6 is hardly anything to worry about so the weight gain I kept intact by running 3 days a week during drinking (sorry mom and dad), eating always of night in college. Flash forward to having my first child I was a size 8. I loved it. I felt more woman like in my shape and if I didn’t turn around from behind you couldn’t even tell I was pregnant. I dropped my weight with no issues I was one of the women that other women would have no issues hating on. With I never got hit until I had my second child and I weighed almost 300 pounds and the weight didn’t drop off as fast as it had done.

I worked hard to eat well by increasing my salads, and not eating after 7pm. SO I have the third child and the weight drops much quicker than my second but slower than my third. I go to a work health event and a woman asked me how far along I was. I wasn’t pregnant. It was the first time I had anyone question my size and I felt like crap. I got on the scale and I was nearly 200 pounds. What in the actual world was going down? One thing that wasn’t going down was my actual weight. So now after years of battling my weight, doing weight loss programs I chose the book, Always Eat After 7pm; The Revolutionary Rule-Breaking Diet That lets you Enjoy Huge Dinners, Desserts, and Indulgent Snacks-While Burning Fat Overnight by Joel Marion and Recipes by Diana Keuilian.

Did you know that Joel stated,

“Those who ate breakfast ended up eating about 260 calories more a day, the review found. Those who skipped breakfast were about one point lighter than those who ate breakfast. These findings led the researchers to conclude that eating breakfast isn’t necessarily a good strategy for losing weight. The science isn’t really there. Breakfast could very well be the lease important meal of the day.”

Think about that, we are heavier from eating breakfast but are being pushed to eat it daily! So, join me as I break it all down and give this book and ideology a spin in real life.
