Date Night Vibes

Tinto serves the wine vibes as soon as you walk through the door. From the wine cellar located in the front you know you have gotten to the right place. You can stay and have a drink at the bar, grab a take home bottle to go, or stay indulge in some one on one with your favorite person. I took one of my favorites, Elle of Siponwhat and we had the best time.

Pintxos or Small Bites

They have quite the options. From duck, lamb, ham and cheese, chorizo and beef, and octopus-the options are delicious and shareable. We chose the Chorifrito which is chorizo and beef.

Chorizo and beed

It was absolutely delicious. Packed with flavor it didn’t disappoint. If you love the combination of both you will absolutely love this burger. Remember this is just one of the choices. With the package you get 2 of the small plates to share.

Pulpo

This is the Spanish octopus brochette. This was one of my favorites of the night. Smoked green olive, crispy potato, and tomato escabeche. This is a savory dish exploding with flavor. You will love this combination.

Wine Anyone?

You can’t go to a wine bar and not have wine. It’s a impossibility. I love wine. All kinds of good wine is good for me. From Rosé, sparkling, whites, and reds I love them all. I love learning about them and how to pair them. Our waiter was exquisite. I told him I wanted to try a sparking wine and he brought us, Vendrell Olivella Cava. Oh my goodness. I will be adding this to my collection. It has hints of lemon, citrus, apple, honey, and tropical hints as well. It’s like a great substitute to drinking champagne.

Cheese Board

I went backwards. We were served the most beautiful cheese board first. It was delectable. I mean the most fresh cheeses they could find. It’s been so long since I’ve had regular cheese. The flavors paired so well with our wine. Also Tinto doesn’t have a problem giving more bread. Some restaurants only give you the first serving. The bread was toasted and warmed to perfection.

Paellas

There are two kinds of their Paellas. They have one called Maricos which is calamari and mussels. The other which is the one we had called, Basques.

Basques

This Paella was so good. I’m talking about request another dish good. Chicken and Chorizo which was the perfect blend for me and Elle. The saffron rice was some of the best that I have ever had. I am originally from Lancaster Pa, people think that all is there is Amish. There is a great Latin/Spanish communities there. I grew up eating saffron rice. This rice was absolutely amazing in every way.

Tinto Philadelphia is one of the amazing restaurants under Garces Group. I have always been fond of their restaurants. This one in particular on my to eat list. I wasn’t disappointed. They catered to all of their patrons while there. The amount of grace that was shown to all was remarkable. So get a sitter if you have children like I do. It’s worth dressing up, putting on heels, and having conversation under the dimmed lights of Tinto. The vibes are amazing. I love how they save their corks. I do the same at home.

Tinto does Cocktails

Although we got the special I also wanted to try their cocktails too. I had the Rebiero. It’s made with Resposado Tequilla, Bonanto, and Demerara grapefruit. Tinto knows their cocktails too. That first sip was good. It wasn’t watered down by any means. So if you’re looking for a great cocktail to add to your meal, you’re in good hands.

Tinto owes me nothing. I had a blast. Thank you at Elle of Siponwhat for being my lovely date. Thank you to Tinto, Garces group, and Aversa PR for the invite. Make sure no matter what you do, tip your servers well. The restaurant industry is recovering. For the ones who showed up to serve, be kind and patient!
