Happy Friday! What a week! In today’s Friday Check-In we are covering all that went down since the last check in. It’s was a snowy week with the snow storm we had. So let’s dive in!
Snow Storming it Through
We had a storm that was prevalent from Sunday until Tuesday afternoon. The winds and the cold was intense. Our kids who are already learning online had 2 days off. They had an amazing time playing out in the snow with their dad. I since I have been fitted with a boot was inside. I injured my foot and have to have one of those boots on for the next couple of boots!
Foot Injury Chronicles
So I went to the orthopedics on last Tuesday because my foot has been unbearably hurting. I have a high tolerance of pain so although I knew my foot was hurting I delayed getting seen. I also had such a fear of going to the doctors while we (everyone) are still battling COVID-19. Had I came a few weeks ago the injury might not have been so bad. Also all I kept doing was re-injuring it by working out on it 5 days a week. So now I’m resting and letting those around me take care of me and the house. It feels weird.
Happy Birthday Marques: Covid 19 Style
We celebrated my husband’s 40th birthday COVID-19 style. We were in the house with cupcakes and dinner. We did our best to show up for him. These Covid-19 birthdays are hard to do because it limits the interactions. However I do have a few more surprises for my husband this week. I also did a tribute video and made sure to include photos of his mom who is not with us. I did a ballon arch and included one red balloon to include her. Her favorite color is red. I’m always finding ways to honor her as his birth is a reflection of her as well.

They do it all year long. I’ve been personally featured over 10 times and trust me it’s appreciated. Blogging isn’t always going to bring recognition. It’s not as easy as it looks.
