Happy Friday. I hope now that we have ended the traditional week that your week was amazing. This was one low key week for me and I loved every bit of it. So what went down since last Friday? Let’s recap.
Kentucky Derby Vibes at Rosalie
I attended the Kentucky Derby party at Rosalie. It was an amazing time. Fully on theme everyone was asked to wear their finest Kentucky Derby inspired outfits. In addition to that, they had prizes for Best Dressed, Woman, Man, and Couple. The event was sponsored by one of my favorites and that’s Makers Mark. They had appetizers and drinks flowing the entire time. I went with Elle of Siponwhat. We decided to also grab more food afterwards and let me say, Rosalie doesn’t disappoint. If you are looking for a great Italian restaurant get to Rosalie. Its located at 139 E. Lancaster Avenue, Wayne PA.
Mother’s Day
Shout out to all of the Moms and Mother figures. Mother’s Day is one of the hardest days to endure if you are grieving. Many people grieve children or the desire to have children during this time. We spent time at my Mother In Law’s gravesite and this year makes it 6 years and it’s not easy still. For me after we visited my Mother in Law I went and took the most epic nap that I definitely needed. We finished the evening having pizza and I enjoyed red wine. So low key for sure.
Birthday Recap
I talked about it on Wednesday’s mid week check in. My cat, Tiki was in the hospital for a few days. I didn’t have the desire to do much but visit with him. It was a low key day but i loved it. He came home last in the evening and the house just lit up. I never knew I loved this cat as much as I did until he got sick. So thank you all for the messages, gifts, and more that was received.
Weekend Plans-Friday Joys
My weekend is jammed pack. I must admit. However a lot of that has to do with me traveling to Los Angeles next week. Trying to accommodate my schedule for events and more. So when I say I will be sleeping on the plane I truly mean. it My weekend starts with cleaning the house, finalizing my oldest birthday plans and more. Other than that I will be editing next week’s podcast, and making sure that all blogs are edited and set before I leave. We will not have a blog or podcast break

OVME Marlton
I attended the Grand Opening of OVME in Marlton New Jersey. If you have ever been to OVME you know it’s like a self care explosion. I highly recommend the hydra facial. It pulls all of the impurities from your face. Talk about a glow? It’s a glow like no other. It was nice to see that they are expanding. New Jersey I hope you are ready to glow. There was a lot of champagne, food, and the vibes were amazing. The one thing that this OVME has that the one I went to doesn’t is the face analysis tool. It literally judges your skin so you know what you want to attack. However indulging in theses services will help you with all of your skin care goals. So what are you waiting for?
