Happy Friday and cheers to the weekend. It was another exciting week with media events and some more down time too. From my kids having another day off from school to seeing the new movie Eternals there is a lot to cover.
Blogiversary and Teneral Cellars
This month is my 7th year Blogiversary. I absolutely love what I do. I started this blog as an outlet from healing from postpartum depression. The depression I had gone through was tough. Not having friends and learning the city of Philadelphia was altogether new. At the advice of my therapist I started this blog. I never expected it to be as strong as it was. So many mistakes were made when I started. I learned a lot about myself. To celebrate we are celebrating with a wine tasting with Teneral Cellars.

Stomping Grounds Coffee Shop
There is a new coffee shop and its called Stomping Grounds. Its a student lead coffee shop that is about inclusion and great service. It gives jobs to the youth of West Philadelphia. Teaching them how to run a coffee shop and giving them skills for their future, I was honored to attend the grand opening. Also you can give donations. Located at 3859 Lancaster Avenue, they have the best Burnt Orange Latte. Also their sweet potato latte tastes like Thanksgiving in a cup. Support the young people of this community and make Stomping Grounds your next go to. Also check out the Reel I made as a recap of the event.
KC Flats Barks and Brews.
Located in the heart of Kensington, KC Flats are a new location for housing options. These luxury style apartments have all that you need. From spacious bedrooms, washer and dryer in the unit, beautiful natural lighting, massive windows, and stainless-steel appliances. I also enjoyed the community center, as well as each apartment is given their own parking spot and their is a beautiful dog park built in the complex. Its an absolutely beautiful space. I was invited to take a tour and I was impressed. Not to mention they had dogs and brews as the event was Barks and Brews. Here is a Reel of the event and video of the apartment.

Halloween Adventures
We spent Halloween at the Philadelphia Zoo for Boo at the Zoo. The entire family dressed up in costumes. It was a great way to Trick or Treat and see the animals. Also my oldest daughter’s costume caused quite a stir. Some of the participants at the zoo thought she was a prop. So having to tell others that she wasn’t taking a picture or wanted to be just a kid was what took place the entire time. The staff at the Philadelphia Zoo were amazing. Also it was the final weekend of Big Time. Its sad to see the dinosaurs go. I am grateful for the many times we were able to attend. Coming November 18, 2021 LumiNature will be back. You need to grab your tickets.
We also spent some time with friends and more Trick or Treating was had. The kids had an amazing weekend.
Pumpkin Carving
Since the kids were off of school on Friday and Monday we decided to do some pumpkin carving. It was so much fun. The kids and the parents enjoyed it too. From the patience of actually carving the pumpkin to the fun of being creative, we had a blast.
Eternals
Marvel’s newest movie is open today. Its called Eternals. I was invited to catch it on a special opening in IMAX. It’s amazing and I was blown away. I love IMAX so if you can go see it in IMAX this is the movie to see. I took Elle of Sip on What with me and it was absolutely so much fun.

Following the events of “Avengers: Endgame”, an unexpected tragedy forces them out of the shadows to reunite against mankind’s most ancient enemy, The Deviants. So take this Friday to enjoy an amazing movie!
The outstanding ensemble cast includes Richard Madden as the all-powerful Ikaris, Gemma Chan as humankind-loving Sersi, Kumail Nanjiani as cosmic-powered Kingo, Lauren Ridloff as the super-fast Makkari, Brian Tyree Henry as the intelligent inventor Phastos, Salma Hayek as the wise and spiritual leader Ajak, Lia McHugh as the eternally young, old-soul Sprite, Don Lee as the powerful Gilgamesh, Barry Keoghan as aloof loner Druig, and Angelina Jolie as the fierce warrior Thena. Kit Harington was cast as Dane Whitman. Directed by Chloé Zhao, who helmed the critically acclaimed Sundance film “The Rider,” and produced by Kevin Feige.
Conversations with Toi
We are back with the podcast, Conversations with Toi. Season 5 is back and better than ever. We have some amazing guest. During my 2 week break we interviewed some of the best. I can’t wait to share some guest that are like dream guests to me. My husband, Marques is this week’s guest. We talk about marriage, relationship, cheating, sex, and men’s mental health.
