Mental Wellness and Self Care Queen

Happy Friday and cheers to the weekend. This week has been super-fast only because I am still adjusting to being back home from SXSW. Make sure you read that blogpost. In addition, getting my home back together and slowly getting back into Philly content creating. Today’s blogpost will serve as an awakening to Spring.

Weekend Reset

I look forward to this reset. From laundry, organizing, and so much more. In addition, I have added some self-care and maintenance onto my schedule as well. Then its back to a 4 day in a row media run before a break again. All 3 of my children are now on one or more afterschool activities. My schedule for content creation will not deviate. I will be limiting Tuesdays and Thursday media events unless they are later in the evening. For all content creators, add in some blocks to your schedule. The fact that some content creators are doing more than one event per day or everyday is crazy to me. Burnout is real. Please pace yourself.

Another thing I look forward to doing is taking down the Valentine’s Day tree and decorating it for Easter. Due to my travel, I couldn’t turn it into a St. Patrick’s Day tree and that’s okay. I have plenty of Easter content that I can start once I have that tree up. I can’t believe Easter is coming up in 2 weeks. I plan to give you my top spots for Easter dining if not this weekend than by early next week.

Blogs you may have Missed

There hasn’t been much blog activity but keep your patience because I am coming with all of the Easter goodies from shopping, sales, what to do, where to eat, and so much more and that will roll right out in a few days. Thank you for all your support.

New Changes to the Website

I have been making small changes to the website. From adding icons for you to get to the podcast a little better, to a monthly change with featuring blogposts that makes sense for the month to highlight. Every time you come on there, I want you to experience things differently. I have added my Instagram feed that updates in real time. That way you never have to miss a post although you should be following me directly. I will be switching the 2023 Holiday Guide to feature more content that is based on holiday or seasonal content as well. Let me know if there are other changes you would like to see.

Conversations with Toi Friday podcast drop

You ever hear a couple talk on and on about the struggle periods of their marriage? Many of us married folks know all too well that there are both high and low seasons of a relationship. In the lowest of your seasons its incredibly hard to go through them in the public eye. Isaac Carree made a comment about how his wife should have divorced several times over, but her fight was exemplary, and she stayed. Here’s the thing, no wife wants the I stayed with my husband award. The strength of struggle love is not a flex. I talk about that and how these “occurrences” messes with your mind and mental health. Listen in, share and tell me what you think about this week’s episode

Well, that is all I have for the week. Friday vibes are in full effect. I hope your week went well. Stay tuned to the weekend’s content. I have been making sure I stay in alignment to what my content is about-encouraging others to continue no matter what levels of their mental health tries to stop them. So happy Friday and cheers to the weekend!
