Midweek (Wednesday) Check-In: June 22, 2022

Happy Wednesday and official Summer vibes. Que in the sun, waves, trips, and more. So now that we are in the Summer months Let’s remember to have fun and be safe.  For all of the parents with kids how are you all doing? I gave the kids all of this week to get their bearings together. They have only been out of school for one week. Storr Family Summer Adventures have begun.  So here is this week’s recap.

Bridal Shower Fun

This past weekend we had an amazing Bridal shower for my friend, Elle. We showered her with all of the love she deserves. I was able to meet all of the other Bridesmaid that will be in the wedding. It was a great time. Keep in mind that the weather was very breezy. The attempt to keep the party inside failed and we eventually took the end of it indoors. The food was absolutely great and most of it made by Elle’s Mom. What a great way to welcome Elle into the soon to be Marriage tribe. We wish Elle and Luke a lifetime of love and happiness.

Philadelphia Flower Show After Hours

You need to read the blog about the time we had at the After Hours Show. It was a lot of fun. From the partying, drinks, and the views. I definitely will return next year. It’s been announced that its going back indoors and coming March 2023 to commemorate with the first day of Spring. I have never been to the Philadelphia Flower Show when it was inside. I look forward to seeing the difference.

Summer Blogs Loading Wednesday Happy

From anxiety with travel and more, starting this Saturday until the end of the month, there are some Summer inspired blogs. This is to help those who struggle in areas of frustration with how to dress (no not a fashion blog), getting invitations and navigating which ones to decline, and more. So be on the lookout. It will be full of color. I will be updating all kinds of material. The blog will also switch over from one host to another. There will be an interruption. I am hoping to have it resolved as quickly as possible. I have a team that will be pursuing excellence in making sure the blog is as professional looking as it can be.

Lightyear Wednesday Recap

I finally saw Lightyear. Even though I hosted a premiere watching it, I had to attend another event. The company that I collaborated with did an amazing job making sure all were happy. My family and I saw it last night. It was amazing. Now this may not affect anyone but the death of my cat, Tiki not being here had me in my feelings.  It lt extremely sad to watch. That aside, be clear this was my personal issue and grieve. The movie itself was great. My husband who isn’t always an avid fan of kid like animated movies really enjoyed himself.

Busy Week in Philly Wednesday Happenings

This particular week starts the Welcome to American Wawa series. For 16 day there are free events all over the city. If you have a family or even a group of friends this is the week to gather them and have a blast. These events again are free. Any of the food events unless stated, are pay as you go. There’s so many events that I am having to decline them. For families there are a few options for you.

Cirque du Soleil- in town this weekend only at the Wells Fargo Center. This is not a free event. Get your tickets.

Circus Vazquez- held at the King of Prussia. This is not a free event. Happening June 24-July 10th. Get tickets.

My family and I will be at both the Cirque du Soleil and the Circus Vazquez and will have blog posts available right after our visit. This will help you to know before you go. I like doing this so that you get an honest what to do especially if you are traveling with children.

Wawa Welcome to America and Kimmel Center Arts Block Party-this is a free event this Saturday inside the Kimmel. You are going to want to come and have a great time. There will be music, dancing, and fun for all ages.

There are a lot of media events happening from today through the end of the week. Fridays recap will be quite hefty. If you have noticed we are on day 10 of a full blog streak. What that means is that we have been blogging every single day for 10 days straight. So be sure to read and support. Welp, I am taking my kids to do some arts and crafts as well as a library run before another movie tonight. My kids are blessed and I hope you are having a good Summer so far.
