My First Visit to Harvest Seasonal Grill: A Restaurant Week Win Worth Savoring

Restaurant Week always feels like an invitation — a gentle nudge to step out of your routine, explore something new, and treat yourself without guilt. This year, Harvest Seasonal Grill & Wine Bar made that invitation irresistible. From Sunday, January 4 through Friday, January 16, they’re offering a $19 prix fixe lunch and a $39 three‑course dinner, all built around their signature approach: thoughtfully sourced, seasonal ingredients and menus that honor a wide range of dietary needs.

As someone who loves a good dining experience but also appreciates intentionality, Harvest had been on my list for a while. So I grabbed one of my besties — because good food deserves good company — and we made it a night.

Stepping Into the Season

Harvest has a way of greeting you before anyone even says hello. The moment you walk in, the space wraps you in warm lighting, natural textures, and that cozy‑modern vibe that makes you want to exhale. It’s the kind of place where you instantly feel like you made the right choice.

There’s something grounding about a restaurant that leans into the season instead of fighting it. Winter can feel heavy, but Harvest uses it as inspiration — turning root vegetables, warm spices, and hearty greens into dishes that feel comforting without weighing you down.

Starting With Comfort and Color

We kicked things off with two starters that set the tone for the entire meal.

Butternut Squash Soup

This soup tasted like winter done right. Velvety, lightly sweet, and full of that roasted depth that only comes from slow, intentional cooking. Every spoonful felt like a warm hug — the kind of dish that makes you forget the cold waiting outside.

Winter Hummus

A seasonal twist on a classic, and honestly, a standout. The color alone was gorgeous — earthy, vibrant, and topped with crisp veggies that added the perfect crunch. Paired with warm pita, it was the kind of appetizer you keep reaching for even when you swear you’re saving room for the entrée.

Sharing Plates, Sharing Moments

One thing about going out with a bestie: you’re absolutely splitting dishes. It’s the unspoken rule. And Harvest made that easy.

Tofu Pad Thai

This dish surprised me in the best way. The tofu was crisp on the outside, tender on the inside, and the noodles were saucy without being heavy. The balance of sweet, tangy, and savory flavors made it a comfort dish with personality. If you’re plant‑based or just plant‑curious, this one deserves a spot on your list.

Cedar‑Roasted Salmon

This entrée felt like a signature Harvest moment. The salmon was flaky, fresh, and infused with that subtle cedar aroma that makes you pause after the first bite. Paired with seasonal sides, it was hearty, clean, and deeply satisfying — the kind of dish that reminds you why seasonal cooking matters.

The Joy of Dessert (and Making Room for It)

Harvest doesn’t play when it comes to dessert. Their seasonal dessert spread is a whole experience — warm spices, winter fruits, creamy textures, and just enough sweetness to end the night on a high note. We made sure to leave room, and it was absolutely worth it.

Dining as a Wellness Moment

One thing I love about places like Harvest is that they make wellness feel accessible. Not the “drink celery juice at sunrise” kind of wellness — but the kind rooted in slowing down, savoring, and choosing foods that make you feel good without sacrificing flavor.

Sharing a meal with someone you love. Laughing between bites. Trying something new. Letting the season guide you instead of rushing through it. That’s wellness too.

If You Go During Restaurant Week…

A few tips from me to you:

  • Make a reservation — Restaurant Week fills up fast.
  • Go with someone who likes to share — the menu is too good to stick to just one dish.
  • Start with a soup or hummus — they set the tone beautifully.
  • Leave room for dessert — trust me on this.
  • Lean into the season — Harvest shines when you let winter be winter.

It’s a yes in my book

My first visit to Harvest Seasonal Grill during Restaurant Week was everything I hoped for and more — fresh, flavorful dishes that honor the season, a cozy atmosphere that makes you want to linger, and a menu that feels both intentional and indulgent. The price point makes it an easy yes, but the quality makes it a place I’d return to long after Restaurant Week ends.

If you’re looking for a dining experience that feels warm, grounded, and deliciously seasonal, Harvest should absolutely be on your list. Shout out to our server Riley for giving amazing service and kept our drinks flowing. Harvest Seasonal Grill has many locations.
