Mental Wellness and Self Care Queen

wednesday love

Happy Friday and cheers to the weekend. I hope you had an amazing week. We have so much going on so I want to dive in to the highs and lows of the week.

Happy February-First Friday of the Month

It’s the first Friday of the month. We are in the second month of the first quarter. There is so much newness that happens with a new month. So I hope whatever is on your heart’s desire that you work towards accomplishing those goals. A special 41st birthday to my husband today. I hope your day is amazing. He reads the blogs too. As we celebrate Black History month and Valentine’s Day this month, remember to make this month all that you want it to be. For Creators and Creatives who are Black and will be counted on to lead the charge in how companies want to be perceived, make sure that you do what you do well.

Friday cheers

The show is in production until February 13th. I Also Taco Tuesday was amplified at Anejo with their $25 dollar per person Bottomless Tacos. Such a great time with amazing food and company. Mental Health and Suicide

This has been a hard week for so many. We have lost too many souls due to suicide. People are hurting. One thing I want to dispel. You can look great, be upbeat, positive and beloved and still suffer with mental health issues, problem, and live a conflicted life. The concept that someone looks happy therefore they are unable to be in mental and emotional turmoil is a lie. We need to stop saying that. Mental and emotional needs comes from every walk of life. There is no certain look or behavior that it encompasses. If you are suffering with mental and emotional needs and feel like you’re alone with thoughts that you aren’t worthy and are suicidal please contact 1-800-273-8255. You can also text GO to 741741.

Conversations with Toi-Friday Podcast Drop

We have as our guest, Caitlin Rose. Caitlin Rose is a resilience coach with over five years experience helping people overcome panic and anxiety naturally and permanently. Her work comes from her own experience navigating complex PTSD from early life trauma. After living with and troubleshooting chronic panic and anxiety for over a decade, she eventually mastered the principles of nervous system regulation and emerged panic-free. Today, she coaches people using a three step process to shift the nervous system out of a chronic survival state, calm the fear centers in the brain and proactively strengthen the brain structures that allow us to make those shifts permanent. Take advantage of a free, no-pressure 15 minute consultation to find out if this process can help you regain ease and freedom in your life!
