Coconut water can be found in your grocery stores as well. So it’s convenient to drink. However, like anything that we consume drink it in moderation. It has been known to help spike potassium. Too much potassium in the blood can result in hyperkalemia. Coconut water does act like a diuretic too. Coconut water is a great thing to drink after a long workout. Should you find yourself sick it can also help in increasing electrolytes too.

Ginger

Ginger has always been known to help with nausea and upset stomach. It also can help to alleviate PMS symptoms, aid in weight loss, help with pain, and improve immunity. Therefore, people add ginger to thinks like their tea in the cold and flu symptoms. If you have ever used ginger before you know that it has a very strong and distinct taste. For ginger to be tolerable many use it with things like honey. You can also make ginger water. Some people use in their smoothies, mocktails or even cocktails. Remember that avoiding things like alcohol in excess is good to help with eliminating certain stress.

Vegetable and Fruit Juices Eliminating Stress

There are many of us who do not get the best amounts of vegetables and fruit. Using things like fruit or veggie smoothies are a great way to help with it. Keep in mind although it’s a great alternative the best way to get your fruit and vegetable intake without adding too much extra sugars are to juice them. When you start making smoothies, we tend to add a lot of extra items like chocolate.

Once you add more of these outside ingredients you can make what should be a healthy alternative into a drink that may be soothing in one area but becomes a calorie blowout in another. If you have access to a juicer, consider adding this to your diet. Also, you can use coconut water or ginger to them as well. There are many who are interested in juicing but consider themselves newbies in the juicing world. I personally stumbled upon Brown Vegan. She is a lifestyle blogger who offers fun ways to either become vegan or add vegan lifestyle in a fun way. Her juicing blog is a great way to start.
