Mental Wellness and Self Care Queen

As the holidays and Christmas kick into high gear, it’s important to prioritize the things that mean the most to you and your family. Gifts come and get set aside after while. Although many will experience so many ups and downs, make memories this holiday season! Here are some family oriented events to attend.

2019 Christmas village

Christmas Village and Holiday Market at Love Park

This is a great way to enjoy some amazing bites, signature hot chocolate and mulled wine for the adults. So much culture can be found in this amazing outdoor market and garden. The options of food are delicious too. My kids love going plus on some days they get to visit the big guy himself, Santa. Have you been to Christmas Village in Philadelphia?!

Made in Philadelphia

This location is in the same general area and it includes the infamous Ferris wheel. What I love is the fact that patrons can support small businesses. Many amazing companies right here in this area is always a plus. Opens November 18, 2023.

LumiNature at the Philadelphia Zoo

One of the most amazing light shows happens at the Philadelphia Zoo. Come and see how spectacular this light show can be at LumiNature. I take the kids every year and we love it so much that we attend multiple times. There are many food and boozy or non boozy drinks. Also experience lights like you never have seen before. From marshmallow pits, picture opportunities and more await your arrival.

Tinseltown Holiday Spectacular

Tinseltown Holiday Spectacular has a new location this year as it will take place in South Philadelphia at 1900 Pattinson Avenue in Philadelphia. I’ve attended when it was at another location. There is ice skating, ice slide, photos with Santa, Mrs. Claus reading, and Mistletoe Market to support small businesses. In addition there is Gritty and Waggin Wednesdays and more. Don’t forget to stop at the Union Forge Lodge for treats, good food and seasonal drinks and cocktails. Tinseltown opens Friday November 17, 2023 and ends January 1, 2024. It’s a great place to get holiday photos in time for those Christmas cards.

Diggerland Christmas

Come and take a ride into the Christmas spirit at Diggerland. This drive through of spectacular is coming November 17th until January 7th. The price is $34.95 per vehicle and you can add snacks to enjoy. It’s a slow amazing ride to take in the sights. While you take in the holiday sights, listen to curated music on the special radio station! Our family can’t wait to enjoy it!

Brunch with Santa at The Olde Bar

Mixing food and Christmas activities at The Olde Bar is a great idea. A preset buffet style brunch is exactly what you want. The food is absolutely delicious. Each family gets a time to enjoy time with Santa including pictures. There are two seatings at 10 am and noon! Drinks are not included but can be ordered separately. Brunch with Santa takes place on Sunday December 17th and Reservations are necessary.
