Friday menu

Happy Friday and cheers to the weekend. Oh what a week it has been. From poor air quality to media events to watching my daughter become a highschooler. There are a lot of events happening this weekend in Philadelphia and beyond as well as movie premieres to be seen.

Friday Movie Roundup

Normally I would have been to a few premieres that are active but this week I want to share some movies that are upcoming. Thanks to all who went to the premieres for The Flash that I have been hosting. These are great ways to see movies that are slated to come out before they actually arrive. I have two that you may want to consider seeing.

RUBY GILLMAN, TEENAGE KRAKEN!

This summer, DreamWorks Animation dives into the turbulent waters of high school with a hilarious, heartfelt action comedy about a shy teenager who discovers that she’s part of a legendary royal lineage of mythical sea krakens and that her destiny, in the depths of the oceans, is bigger than she ever dreamed.  It comes out in theatres on June 30th but you can see it exclusively on June 24th at 11am, UA King of Prussia. Grab your tickets.

Netflix’s advance screening of NIMONA

When Ballister Boldheart (Riz Ahmed), a knight in a futuristic medieval world, is framed for a crime he didn’t commit. The only one who can help him prove his innocence is Nimona (Chloë Grace Moretz), a mischievous teen with a taste for mayhem. She also happens to be a shapeshifting creature Ballister has been trained to destroy. But with the entire kingdom out to get him, Nimona’s the best (or technically the only) sidekick Ballister can hope for. And as the lines between heroes, villains, and monsters start to blur, the two of them set out to wreak serious havoc. Ballister sets to clear his name once and for all, and for Nimona to…just wreak serious havoc.

See this at 10am on June 24th, Cinemark University City at 10am. Get your tickets.

Frame’s Summer Menu

If you love good food with curated drinks, Frame is your to go. They invited me and the husband to their menu tasting. I must admit the new chef, definitely will make a wave with the new menu. From lamb chops and seafood pasta there is something for every palate. If you ever been to Frame or Unframed which is their night club you know that they do an amazing job creating an atmosphere of fun. The Dj is always on point and the food is not to be missed.
