As May comes to a close, I’m looking back on a month filled with powerful moments—pushing past limits, celebrating life, expanding opportunities, and reconnecting with what truly matters. From conquering the Broad Street Run to celebrating Toibration, collaborating with Toyota, prioritizing my mental health, setting a new record for my highest monthly income, marking a milestone birthday in legendary fashion, and embracing deep healing through journaling and meaningful conversations—this month was pure magic.

Broad Street Run: A Test of Strength and Resilience

The Broad Street Run was more than a race—it was a testament to dedication, endurance, and the energy of community support. Every mile reaffirmed my commitment to showing up for myself and pushing forward, no matter the challenge.

Toibration: A 10-Day Celebration of Life, Legacy & Joy

This wasn’t just a birthday—it was Toibration, my TEN-day celebration of life, love, and legacy. Every day was intentional, filled with reflection, joy, and deep appreciation for the journey. Whether surrounded by loved ones, indulging in pure fun, or stepping into moments of gratitude, Toibration was an unforgettable tribute to growth and purpose.

Cowboy Carter Tour: A Legendary Birthday Moment

And what better way to mark the milestone birthday of my oldest than attending the Cowboy Carter Tour? This wasn’t just a concert; it was a moment—one that reminded me to embrace joy, celebrate every chapter, and honor the power of showing up for my daughter. We enjoyed great conversations, made memories, and bonded over music and vibes.

Mindset & Mental Health: Staying Grounded

Through all the excitement, I remained committed to my mental health—showing up for therapy, creating space for clarity, and ensuring that self-care remained a priority. Success means nothing without balance, and I’m proud of the work I’ve done to keep that foundation strong.  It hasn’t been easy. At one point I had an ugly cry session that helped me release so much that was on my heart. The more I heal, the more I forgive.

May-A Record-Breaking Month

This month also marked a financial milestone—I set a new record for my highest-earning month yet! This isn’t just about the numbers; it’s about growth, consistency, and proof that hard work leads to real results. Shout out to those putting in work behind the scenes. It has caused me to step back but be more meaningful in my work.

Reconnecting with My Writing

Beyond achievements and celebrations, I made time to refocus on my writing—to return to the joy of storytelling, expression, and creativity. Writing has always been home, and I’m excited to nurture it, build on it, and let it fuel what’s next. It feels so good to be back. I honestly don’t know what caused my writer’s block outside of simply self reflection.

Journaling: A Tool for Reflection & Healing

Journaling has been a quiet but powerful force in my journey this month. It gave me a space to process emotions, set intentions, and have honest conversations with myself. Some prompts that helped me gain clarity included:

  • What am I holding onto that I need to let go of?
  • What lessons has this month taught me about myself?
  • Where have I been playing small, and how can I show up bigger?
  • What does joy look like for me right now?
    Writing through these thoughts allowed me to celebrate my wins, acknowledge my struggles, and create space for healing.

Mental Healing Through Conversations with My Inner Circle

One of the most beautiful forms of healing I experienced this month was having honest conversations with my inner circle. Sitting down with friends and loved ones—speaking truthfully, receiving support, and letting myself be heard—helped me process challenges, celebrate victories, and move forward with confidence. Healing doesn’t happen in isolation; sometimes, it’s found in the comfort of real dialogue and trusted connections.

Celebrating Wins, Acknowledging Losses & Moving Forward

May wasn’t just about my victories—what about yours? I encourage you to take a moment to reflect on your own wins, whether big or small. Celebrate them. Acknowledge the work that got you there. And just as importantly, recognize the challenges that may have slowed you down. Losses, setbacks, tough moments—they’re all part of the journey. The goal isn’t to ignore them but to learn from them.

Find your own way to honor the month:

  • Treat yourself for the hard work you’ve put in, even if it’s a simple moment of rest.
