That’s exactly what my husband and I experienced at Umi Premium Buffet, and it was truly unforgettable.

There was no pressure, no rush—just a genuine effort to ensure we had the best experience possible. Whether it was guiding us to a cozy table or ensuring we had everything we needed, their hospitality was exceptional.

As a content creator, I often feel the need to balance documenting my experience with simply enjoying the moment. Some places feel restrictive, others overly staged, but Umi Premium Buffet allowed me to simply be me. It was amazing to see so many guests marking their special day, surrounded by loved ones and incredible food. Umi isn’t just a place to eat—it’s a place to celebrate, whether it’s a birthday, anniversary, or just a reason to indulge in something great.

Beyond their outstanding hospitality and fun celebrations, Umi Premium Buffet is, of course, a paradise for seafood lovers, sushi enthusiasts, and hotpot aficionados. The selection is vast, the ingredients fresh, and the atmosphere lively without being overwhelming.

For all the ramen lovers out there, I highly recommend their ramen! The broth is rich, the noodles are perfectly chewy, and the toppings are thoughtfully paired for an authentic, flavorful experience. It was an unexpected stand out among the buffet offerings and a must-try for anyone who appreciates a great bowl of ramen. After taking it all in, I’d rate this experience a solid 7/10. The food was fresh, the service was exceptional, and the atmosphere made the night feel special.

Pro Tips

Thursday until the weekend is going to be the most visited times. So use that information to determine when you want to go. The location that I visited was 3000 Island Avenue, Philadelphia. It is located inside of a shopping center so there is plenty of parking available.  The other 2 locations nearby are 1619 Grant Avenue, Philadelphia and 1692 Clement’s Bridge, Deptford NJ. Pricing is what I would expect a buffet to be. Kid pricing is by height. This matters. Back in the day I remember having to “change” my age to meet a certain price.

My own kids would all be charged adult prices since I am just about the shortest in my house. So don’t try to go back and forth. Also tip your server too! Lastly your time limit to eat is 2 hours. Like all buffets, you can’t take food out unless you want to pay for it. Eat what you plan to finish. Do not waste food especially with the price of food these days.
