Wednesday list

Happy Wednesday. You have made it to the mid week check point. With that being said I hope your week is off to a great start. From balancing your work to adding a few moments of play balance or attempting to make balance for yourself is key. On this Wednesday we have had quite a few media events but also lots of rest. So let’s get into this mid week check in.

Wednesday Joys

I took the kids to school and took the car to get washed. As I was cleaning and more specifically vacuuming my SUV out I started to look around. The weather is beautiful today, I woke up in my right mind, and my family is doing well. I had to take the moment to be grateful for what I have and where I am. Often times we tell ourselves to focus on certain things and get overwhelmed. I choose to focus on the good that I see. In addition to gratefulness I am also thankful. Thankful for every opportunity that comes my way, that others share with me, and more. What are you thankful and grateful for? If you haven’t already write a few things down.

Kimmel Cultural Campus Theatre Announcement

On Tuesday the Kimmel announced the ’23-24 theatre line up. It’s a good one. They will showcase everything from Mrs. Doubtfire to Ain’t Too Proud. I can’t wait to attend many of these shows if not all of them. My kids are looking forward to Frozen. So parents, get your tickets as early as you can. I would highly suggest getting a subscription. You also can pay for the subscriptions with a payment plan to make it affordable. All of the shows are sure to be great and there is something for everyone.

In addition of the announcement they had an announcement party. The food was delicious. Everything from lamb, to burgers and shakes were served. Also the sangria was phenomenal. I enjoyed seeing the staff. They are always so welcoming. Also a lot of my press friends were present as well. Honestly, it was a great time.

Goal Setting for this Week

I am starting some new adventures this upcoming week. So I am getting my mind prepared. As always I will share as soon as I can. It comes with a lot of thought, planning and a little wiggle room. All of these new adventures I know is going to bring in more money and opportunities. To help with my anxiety as the days draw near I am working on a few things: making a list of needs, wants, and a pathway to get to both. Whenever I have new things added to my plate I focus on these two lists to move forward.

Wednesday New Book Alert

This Wednesday I am enjoying a new book, “Black Girls Must Have it All” by Jayne Allen. This is the 3rd book in the series. If you remember I had her on the podcast. It’s a great read so far. I have the hard copy as well listening on Audible. What I love is that we follow Tabitha after the birth of her baby. Will she marry Mark? What about her other friends. I can’t put this book down. I always recommend a lot of books but this series is a great read for women as it deals with having a child, career, relationships, and more.

So that is all we have for Wednesday. I am in a heavy media week. There is a media event tonight and tomorrow. Then the weekend is Family time with events. Keep in mind that there are two events happening that I have been hosting and that is Paw Patrol Live at the Kimmel Cultural Campus and Monster Jam.

Wednesday weekend events

Paw Patrol Live is happening Saturday and Sunday. This is a great kids event. Monster Jam is another family event. In addition the weather this weekend will be a great weekend to get out and enjoy it.
