South Bowl Philly Food and Drinks

There are amazing food and drink options at South Bowl Philly. I was impressed with the food and drinks. For one as many cocktails that I have on the regular basis, drinks are essentially a great part of being out with friends. I am not saying that to be out you have to drink. However if and when I want a cocktail the worse thing to have is a drink that is watered down.

South Bowl food

One of those cocktails where the liquor seems to have had ran from the cup is not what I desire. I will judge a whole restaurant or business by their cocktails. You don’t have to worry about that at South Bowl Philly. They make sure that the drinks are well made. The liquor is not light at all. Although they knew we were coming, others that I know all have the same opinion of their drinks.

El Jefe Margarita

This margarita is the perfect combination of a great tasting margarita and wine. This drink is made with Agavales Blanco Tequila, orange liqueur, house made sour mix, orange juice and an El Jefe Tempranillo wine float. Be aware because it’s a perfect mix of both kinds of liquor the drink is naturally strong. So as always drink responsibly. For that purpose I had this and the Cranberry Pomegranate Margarita

Cranberry Pomegranate Margarita

It’s made with Hornitos Reposado Tequila, Pama Pomegranate liqueur, Triple Sec, house made sour mix, cranberry juice, and fresh lime. This is a great drink too. If you love both cranberries and pomegranate this is a great drink to enjoy.

South Bowl Philly 7 cocktails, can beers, draft beers, and 3 wine selections.

Food Options at South Bowl Philly

In our group that we had  6 people total. There was something for everyone. The menu is well designated with options clear to tell you what options are Vegan, Vegetarian and more. You can order your food and enjoy it while you bowl. I would suggest you order the food as soon as you get situated with your bowling friends. The food and drinks came out in a timely manner. Friday nights were busy but not crowded. If the entire bowling alley is full service may take a few extra minutes. Give the staff some patience. Our table ordered shrimp tacos, loaded tots, pizza, salad, and sliders. This is a great combination. South Bowl Philly has many more to enjoy. The food was hot and made well. No one left hungry.
