Mental Wellness and Self Care Queen

Happy Wednesday. I hope you are off to a good start to your week. We are half way there. So as we continue through the end of the week, let’s find some highs to focus on. My week so far has been busy but also a little crazy at the same time. I went from productive to sick back to productive and it’s only Wednesday. Let’s get into this week’s highs and lows.

Monday Motivation

Thank you to all who read the blog on Monday for Monday Motivation. Over the weekend I had a lot of events. As I slowed it down a bit for Sunday I really had to think about those days when you wake up and feel lost. We don’t all wake up and show up as our best selves. How do you champion through those feeling of feeling less than? Faking it until you make it doesn’t work for everyone. Sometimes a dose of reality is helpful.

Positano Coast- Wednesday Review

Last week I attended the grand reopening of Positano Coast. It was a magnificent time. They started off with a cocktail hour filled with amazing drinks and appetizers. The new addition to Positano Coast is stunning to say the least. Not only does it open up the facility to hold more patrons, staff, and more-its even more brighter. The hues of blue, lime and purple along with natural lighting creates an ambiance that is just as magical as their food. When the night settles in its turns into a beautiful place to host your anniversary, birthday, or even baby/wedding showers.

The menu was absolutely delightful too. I had the Linguine with sea urchin and crab and black squid ink. It was hand down delicious. I had never had that before. I would get it again. So fresh and full of flavor.

Again they have one of the best wine selections in the city. I have celebrated plenty of days like birthdays and more with the restaurant and their other restaurants under them. The drinks are great as well.

So add Positano Coast to your next list of dining options. Thank you to the staff of Positano Coast as well as Aversa PR for the invitation.

BlogHer Health

Conferences are back. BlogHer is back with their Health one in Los Angeles. It’s going to be a great one. If you remember a few years ago I won an all expense paid trip with them and it was magical. All because I went beyond my anxiety. I applied myself and took a lot away. It was by far the best trip I had taken in awhile. I have barely missed any of their events. Now I am apart of SHEMedia. Make sure you are there to learn, network, and have an amazing time. They are offering free tickets to the conference. It doesn’t include air fare or hotel stay. If you are going to be in the LA area, sign up for the scholarship only if you plan to attend.

Wednesday Joy

For this week my joy has been feeling better. I got some 24 stomach bug and it had me laid up. I am grateful for writing a lot of my blogs ahead of time.  If I hadn’t none of the blogs would have gotten done this week. I also learned to let my husbands do what husbands should do and that’s help. My stomach was hurting so bad and I think from the increase of eating out so many days a week last week that my stomach had enough. I ate what I could eat while being sick and in 24 hours I was much better. So if you are in at least Philadelphia there is a stomach bug going around, so be careful. Continue to wash your hands and be vigilant on it.

Look Ahead

So as we start Wednesday I am focused on a few media events for the week. I have one tonight. The Mainline Ladies Night is tonight. Get your tickets. It will go to support breast cancer. Come out for shopping, food, and drinks. Tomorrow I will be at Wilma Theatre to attend the showing of The Cherry Orchard. After that I will have some down town so I can focus on some things with the kids.

Happy Wednesday to you all. Let’s make the week all that we can by focusing on what has been working so you can do more of it. Enjoy your week. Increase self care.
