Wednesday Wellness

Happy Wednesday! I hope today is finding you in great health. To start the recap thus far, United States is experiencing grounded flights. In addition January is about getting back into a flow of wellness and that’s exactly what I’ve been doing. So what’s my week been like so far?

Working Out-Wednesday Push

As many I’ve been hitting the gym hard but not for a resolution. I haven’t even started my vision board yet. I plan to finalize that this weekend. I’ve been in the gym the last few months before the New Year, New Me people joined in. However like I’ve said before even if people are running to the gym-is it a bad thing? No! Let people do what’s best for them and their health. My workout has been at least 5 days a week and 2 rest days. This has been helpful in helping me balance my gym time. I do this reshifting with the gym to help transform my body. I am not sure if I will be ready to do the Broad Street Run this April but I will be signing up for 3 races before the end of the year. The race training that I do is pretty intense. Things like cutting out large amounts of cocktails, cutting on sugar and more gets real.

Wellness While Working

Ever since our house flooded a few years ago we carved office space for both my husband and I. I have been adding little things to help with my personal and mental health. One of the new devices I got was a desk and personal humidifier. This has been helpful. Adding some essential oils to it has been a game changer. I turn my working area to a personal oasis. The only thing left for me to get is the foot warmer. I want to be comfortable while working. There are a lot of time spent at my laptop. Outside of taking breaks and more I want to be as comfortable as I can be. To see it in action go to my Instagram Reel. Also to get your own use my Amazon Store. This concept that working has to mean being uncomfortable isn’t something I have to subscribe to.

White Dog Cafe 40th Anniversary Wednesday Recap

I was invited to celebrate White Dog Café’s 40th anniversary. It was amazing in every way. From the food to the drinks it was so much fun. In this day and age 40 years is no easy task. I can now say I have been at all of the White Dog Cafe locations. I hadn’t been to the one in University City until the celebration. There were so many wonderful people in attendance who really did a great job of just having a great time, networking and more. Anytime of the Fearless brands has me I count it a honor. Cheers to many more.

Rest over the Weekend

I have been about my sleep lately. Over the weekend I was able to rest and get a few naps in. In addition to that, I also was able to set a new sleep schedule. That schedule includes going to bed a 9pm on days that I am not at media events. Even with going to White Dog I still was in bed by 9/9:30pm. Sleep is essential to rejuvenation, helps with weight loss, and helps you to lead a more healthy lifestyle. You may struggle with sleep as many do. Consider using the SleepPhones to help aid in the use of white noise and more.

Events Coming Soon

There are a few other events happening soon. This Saturday is the concert of En Vogue happening at Rivers Casino. Get your tickets now. Come and sing your heart out to this amazing performing group. I for one am too ecstatic to hear them. Get your friends and get ready for a good time. Keep in mind a few things that should make you want to be at Rivers Casino: outside of En Vogue, they have amazing food, the casino of course, parking on the premises and more.

I will start showcasing all of the Valentine’s and Galentine’s events happening next week. This way you have time to plan ahead. Let me know of anything in particular you want to see.

I will update the other media events I attended on Friday. Have a great rest of your week. Happy Wellness Wednesday!
